Four new bithiophene derivatives 5,5'-bis(p-N, N-dimethylaminostyryl)-2,2'-bithiophene (BMSBT) , 5, 5'-bis (p-N, N-diethylaminostyryl)-2, 2'-bithiophene (BESBT), 5, 5'-bis (p-N-cyclobutylaminostyryl )-2, 2'-bithiophene ( BBSBT) and 5, 5'-bis ( p-N-carbazoylstyryl)-2, 2'-bithiophene (BCSBT) were synthesized.
