阐述了叶龄模型在水稻形态建成模拟中的应用，结果表明：用叶龄模型预测水稻播种至抽穗期的生育进程，与观察值吻合较好；根据叶龄与根、蘖、穗等器官的同伸关系，用叶龄模型预测各器官的发育进程，可用以编制水稻生长日历，预测当年水稻生长发育进程和器官形成进程，为高产栽培的调控决策提供指导。
