Under the basement of summarizing the characteristic of self-reconfigurable robot mechanical design, a homogeneous and lattice self-reconfigurable robot module was designed, the module has 12 DOF, its structure is compact and simple and is easy to control, a experiment test-bed was provided in order to research distribution control and metamorphic algorithms of self-reconfigurable robot.
