The author analyzes the physiological and psychological demands from senior citizens and their characteristics of activities, subdividing their outdoor activity space into four space levels of public, semi-public, intimate and semi-intimate, which provides some thoughts on design and suggestions for reference for the purpose of further improvement of the environment of residential quarters.
