It points out that the statistics of the flood disaster was not processed with information consistency,thus,the rareness of the disaster can not be deduced by hydrology statistics.
整理分析美国艾奥瓦州2008年特大洪水的雨情、水情和灾情;验证该次洪水的稀遇程度;指出洪灾统计资料因未作资料一致性处理,无法应用水文统计法推算其稀遇程度,将洪水的稀遇程度等同于洪灾的稀遇程度缺乏科学根据;举例说明中国水文水利专家不提洪灾的稀遇程度;提出了几点认识和建议。
