Based on the inventory theory, the paper establishes two joint inventory/pricing decision models in condition of out- of-stock permitted and out-of-stock unpermitted while the raw materials may replenished instantly, then solves the models to obtain the optimal inventory/pricing policies according to the principle of maximum value and compares the two results.
