By adopting the techniques of distributed object interoperability and mechansim of object broker, CIMS-MIODP implements Remote Object Access(ROA)based on RPC and Remote Database Access(RDA)based on SQL3, and supports interoperability at the levels of database, respectively, for information integration and distributed processing in CIMS.
